You and I are in agreement, my dear friend. We hope for fairness, in an unfair situation. We reach for compassion, in the face of places where we cannot find mercy. It is that sort of light that helps people continue to move forward in the darkest places - and dark places we will likely continue to find.

I find myself returning often to the tradition you taught us, this week. I hope we will perform those songs again, for them.
