taair holds out the hand holding the donut bag in a sort of "ta da" gesture as they reach the fountain of trevi. lit up at night, the fountain burbles softly through the empty streets, casting a soft glow on the plaza it rests in, all golden-lit street lamps and silver stars overhead. the pretty architecture and statues is not so much the point as the fountain itself is - the atmosphere of this plaza feels like it must normally be so lively, but there's something a little intimate, about such a space, all alone.
in the space of history and companionship, things start to feel a lot like paradise. taair turns a little to look at him again, to fully explain. ]
