[ ah... fascinating. he looks on with a scholar's warmth - in fact, the exploding mushroom bit gets a stray thought from taair, floating under hers. It sounds like an adventure.
don't think like that. anyway. ]
The Lady of Loss... would you tell me of her? Your world sounds - and looks! - fascinating, Miss Shadowheart.
[well. the thought bubble darkens a little bit at that. Fascinating is one way to put it.]
She is the goddess of darkness and night, and of nothing. Shar worship is quite illegal and quite frowned upon, as her followers have a reputation of committing great acts of depravity in her name. Her goal is to bring grief, pain, and torment such that the people she breaks will learn to embrace her, to embrace loss.
taair's quiet for a moment, considering that. Like the Darklight. there's no judgement on his face or anything like it, but a thoughtfulness, as he follows the thought bubble, and then glances at shadowheart's expression, instead. ]
Yet... your arts are also of a healing sort, are they not?
I have various magical abilities, but I was trained as a healer, yes. Divine magic tends to be divine magic. What changes is the purpose. I was meant to heal in order to support Lady Shar's warriors in our missions and in combat against enemies, not so much to heal the sick or wounded.
[anyway her expression is fairly open; she's just willing to talk about these things, but it doesn't sound like she thinks any of this is great.]

[but yeah she will change the scene and show the holy symbols.]
They represent the Lady of Loss, yes.
