Mn. Magical barriers and shields are not uncommon techniques, at least in Rodinian magic - that's what it felt like, to me.

And it was the same for myself, as well. So... somehow, Charlie must have been able to arise, to make it to the beach. And... somehow, those barriers must have dropped. The question, I suppose, is why...
