Ah— My apologies...

[NOT THE LONG PAUSE. He so clearly feels bad just for asking, even though he is also kind of curious and wants to ask... more... BUT HE WON'T. SHIT'S TOO AWKWARD. WHO LOCKED THIS MAN IN A BOX.

He glances back toward the packets, though, quickly setting the one he'd picked up back down. He does not know a thing about farming.]

The flowers would be a nice touch, I think. Maomao was talking about bringing some... Oh, goodness. They started with an "h", I believe? The lovely flowers that grow in clusters and seem to change from pink to purple to blue.

[THE WAY THAT TAAIR'S FLUSTER JUST MAKES HIM A LITTLE FLUSTERED TOO THEY'RE LIKE TWO STUPID BIRDS HOPPING AROUND IN A CIRCLE.]

Oh, no! There's no need for you to apologize at all, I'm the one who should have worded it with greater care.

[He. He truly does not have anything to say about the rest of that that wouldn't make things even worse though because he's just immediately like "GOING ONTO THE ROOF AND TO THE MARKET A COUPLE TIMES IS SO SAD" honestly he also just gets sad again for completely unrelated reasons because this kind of confinement reminds him of his sickly sister who has also only gone to the market once in her life. He wonders if maybe Taair was also horrendously ill in his lifetime...

HYDRANGEAS SAVE US.]

—Ah! Yes, yes! That was exactly the name. They're so lovely, aren't they? I've never seen a single cluster of flowers with so many gradients!

[I CAN'T BELIEVE DW IS TRYING TO SAY NO TAAIR AND LUCAS CR THIS GAME STARTS SWINGING

But this is fine... Even though he is a little curious, he is too polite to press especially with all the fluster, so he just lets the topic go with a little nod... Which is followed by a light laugh NOT THE PUN.]

I would agree. Being out among plants has always helped to center me, I feel... Any time I needed to clear my head back home, I'd take a walk through the gardens and feel so much better. I do hope that others can find a bit of solace like that here.
