Even when someone tried to beg her to listen to them, to fix it, it was too late. I would agree with that. I do think that might well be what we're looking at here... An amplification of these supposed sins, taken to a severe extreme.

We've eight weeks here, don't we? And... eight of these supposed sins. I don't think they've even repeated - but that means it's likely we'll continue to see these, based on that pattern, unless we can find a way to stop it.
I wish for the same. It's a frustrating thing... [He's actually not as hard to frustrate as it may first seem, but he's able to keep his frustration under wraps, usually. Not when it's over something as wild as this, though.]
I should like to think we will, but in the event that we don't, we must be prepared to lose no less than ten more. [Grimly. That is so many of them.] ...It speaks to the desperation of whatever party is interfering, that they need to change the people here to have us "fail".
