It never does.
These people are our dear comrades. When we vote correctly, more often than not, we vote correctly for someone who would not have acted on this behavior if given the choice.

I think it's rare that acts of cruelty, murder - it's rare that these things are clear cut even outside of this place. There are so few true 'villains'.
So here... we are constantly asked to make the best choice we can.
I must hold onto those little moments - and keeping an innocent man safe is one of them.

But not voting for someone innocent is probably the best we can take out of this.
