[ noooo... this makes him laugh, too, a tiny giggle - it's bittersweet, but the mirth is genuine. siffrin would in fact have loved that, wouldn't they. ]

[ reboot laurence is not a person for comedy so please picture him saying that in the driest tone possible. but the laugh brings a small, sad smile to his face nonetheless. ]
