[ wherever taair is, she's coming over to hang out with him. ]

It seems we are faced with tragedy once again...

I am... I think I could be worse. [ there's a soft, sad smile from taair, who is settled down somewhere in the void for now. ] I...care for Miss Su very deeply, and it breaks my heart to hear of the news, but... some part of me was afraid things could have escalated even further than they already had.

[ considering the two bodies last week. oof. ] Come, will you sit me with for a spell? I missed you and Basilio and Fidelio, yesterday.

[ she'll come and sit down. ]

I'm afraid that was somewhat deliberate... Fidelio did not want his brother in a place with too many people, lest one of them turn to murder in the night...

[ of all things, that brings a slight twitch of a smile to his mouth. ]

Mm... he's a wonderful elder sibling. And our Thursday evenings leave us completely out of control - it hardly seems like there's anything we can do.

[ it's hard enough for softhearted taair, who is not a protective big brother. he can only imagine. ] I wish there was something else I could do, too. I...only hope that he, that both of them, will continue to reach out to us as things here get worse.

... I'm sorry, that you all found yourself in a location where those horrors happened, once again. It never makes it any easier.

... It's all right. It is better that we learn from such things, than to continue with the false hope that we may choose a "safe" place to stay.

Where did you spend the night, if you don't mind me asking?
