[ hello!!! out in the gazebo area, eupha can find taair, who is no longer sexy, sitting in the grass. he's got a big red book open in his lap, and appears to be writing something down in it, lifting his head every now and then to just inhale and enjoy his surroundings, and then resume writing.
and!! if she doesn't immediately come run over, she might hear him murmuring quietly to.... someone? something? loud enough to be heard, though. ]
This is very nice, isn't it? It was beginning to feel as claustrophobic as before, but - it's already gotten a bit better, hasn't it, my friend...?
[ Eupha is also not sexy but she does look curiously at the book from afar. Maybe she can ask about it...? But as she approaches, she stops when he speaks. ]
Oh, pardon me. I didn't mean to interrupt you... [ him and...? she looks around. who was he talking to. ]
[ man nothing ruins a beach party like finding out a body was there huh
speaking of which!!! if eupha happens to scan the area of said beach at all, she might notice a familiar flash of white and blue up near the top of the lighthouse where the observatory door is- taair's up there, leaning on the railing, looking outwards! he doesn't seem to have noticed if there's any company. ]
[ yeah... yeah. lighthouse time... he returns the little nod, and joins her, folding his hands behind his back to gaze out at the sea. ]
It's hard to believe it's only been two days since we discovered what happened. [ his gaze tracks outwards, to the beach. just a few days ago had been one of the happiest nights of his life, right up until it wasn't. ] As if time has gone by in a blink, and by centuries all the same.
not great! he is bandaged up pretty much anywhere there's visible skin, and through the bandages, odd (but familiar) golden flowers poke through here and there. he's settled down somewhere, looking out a window, and doesn't seem to immediately respond or realize that someone's in here. ]
[ sometime later on sunday, eupha will come to check on taair. ]
... How are you faring?
[ she means it in both the emotional, and physical sense. and will be taking a glance to see the state of his injuries and how he's carrying himself. no more weird flowers? ]
[ taair is... in the library on this fine (?) day! he's propped up at a table, his chao sitting in a nearby chair, with several books in front of him and his phone set out nearby. he looks up when he hears eupha, and immediately, his face warms in a smile. ]
Miss Eupha, hello. [ his chao happily waves too. ] I'm... well, I am quite glad the week has come to an end, for better or for worse. Here, come, sit.
[ on this fine monday, taair can be found in the flower garden, settled a table. as usual, he's hard at work doing something, though... this time it appears to be just blank paper and a pencil as opposed to ten thousand books.
he looks pretty focused, but his chao makes an excited noise when it sees eupha and runs over to greet her enthusiastically, so he looks up and smiles. ]
I am... I think I could be worse. [ there's a soft, sad smile from taair, who is settled down somewhere in the void for now. ] I...care for Miss Su very deeply, and it breaks my heart to hear of the news, but... some part of me was afraid things could have escalated even further than they already had.
[ considering the two bodies last week. oof. ] Come, will you sit me with for a spell? I missed you and Basilio and Fidelio, yesterday.
taair is... somewhere....! he's probably sitting at the hospital like a good boy, honestly, cleaned up, dressed in different clothes, and...holding a bag of ice to his head. ow. he mostly looks fine besides that and a red cheek from getting smacked, though. ]
[ she gives a start when the mirrors change, hands up in front of her face... but she lowers them when it becomes clear that nothing is going to jump out at her.
... ah. this would explain a lot... ]
... You returned, then? After little more than a week...?
weh. well. he notices this and slips away, very quietly... but after a little while, he comes to sit down next to eupha, and quietly offers her a bottle of water. ]
taair can be found out in the flower garden after all of that with his sketchbook, sitting quietly near the garden memorials - his pen's not moving, and he's rubbing his temple with one hand. what a day... ]
[ candy town... it's a candy town.... today, taair can be found in the hedge maze. he's like, laying on his stomach and watching something closely in the distance, hand over his brow - when he spots eupha, his emotions go !! happily, melting into warmth, though over top of that is an endless sense of wonder and curiosity. ]
Miss Eupha. [ whispered - he gestures her over. ] Come here.
[ at the hopital... eupha is standing in the hall, far enough from fidelio's room to give him some privacy with whoever he's pcing with, but close enough to act if anything is needed.
there is a deliberate calmness in her emotional state, but the anxiety she is trying to suppress can still be felt, too.
when she sees taair, she offers a small, fragile smile. hopeful, despite it all. ]
[ the fragile smile gets a very soft one in return from taair, who... also has not been very far from this hospital room, today - he's coming back with a small plastic bag in his hands, and he makes his way over to eupha, and briefly bows his head. ]
Miss Eupha...
[ his emotions bloom when he sees her - worried, tired, anxious, and... something small and fond, at that hopeful little smile. ]
[ out in the garden by the church, there is the smell of incense in the air and a feeling of great calmness. if you look, you will see eupha sitting on the ground in front of a little portable altar that's been set up with incense burning.
her eyes are closed (the lower two, anyway) and her body is very still, save for rhythmic breathing.
you can join her, or interrupt her... though if you linger because you're too polite to do one of those things, she may notice you before long. ]
anyway! taair sees this - it takes him a loop, but when he makes his way back, he comes very quietly to sit next to eupha, folding his hands into his lap.
deep breath in, deep breath out. it's not a completely unfamiliar practice, and it calms some of the remaining choppiness in his own emotions, settling things down into still waters. breathe in, breathe out - he will not interrupt eupha, but he does linger to join her in meditation for a little while. ]
[ what a cute and fun mini-cyoa. we befriended some corgis and were blessed for our efforts. and now, the two of them sit facing each other, the blue flame held between them...
[ i'm not even gonna lie to you he has been tending to our two accidental stoners and has probably just been sitting with del when he came down from this so. it does not take long to see eupha at all!
despite all of the Horrors tm she gets a little smile in greeting, and he dips his head. ]
[ did you know taair is simply having the best time of his life n this academy once again. he is sitting in one of the classrooms with a huge tome open in front of him, poring over it when eupha comes in to poke through the notes. she can see his thoughts over his head forming where he's reading -
Witches invoke magic through the use of gestures, incantations, enchanted objects, potions, and elixirs. With this gesture... and as he moves his hand, she will see him visualize his usual magic, a bird made of bluish white light that flutters in an arc just above his head, though it vanishes when he's addressed. ]
Yes - precisely that, Miss Eupha! Good day. [ sparkly eyed. ] Isn't this place simply wonderful?
[ hewwo... taair has been bandaged and is in bed at the hospital, now in comfy clothes and bundled in like four blankets. he still looks like shit, actually, very, very pale with big dark circles under his eyes, and he startles when someone comes in the room.
but... after a second, if fades, and he manages a tiny smile. ]
[ wow that execution was terrible 0/10 do not recommend the trauma buttons being hit
BUT things have calmed down some, finally, and the end of the week means taair is writing! he is not in bed but he's sitting on a bench in the garden, propped up with pillows and a blanket over his lap. he has TWO doves now, one sitting on the top of the bench, and the other just sitting on his shoulder nearby and vibing.
he glances up and smiles when he sees eupha, soft and tired. ]
[ eupha can be found in twin peaks... taking in the... sights.
but while there is a fuckass huge pyramid floating in the air, and the mystery shack floating too, and a crater where the jamboree was, her eyes are fixed elsewhere. simply somewhere in the distance. it doesn't look like there's anything interesting in her line of sight? ]
[ oh. taair honestly thinks she might be dissociating when he comes upon eupha on this fine if slightly strange monday. he looks left, then right, and then peers around her side....? ]
Miss Eupha...? [ putting a hand over his forehead like an adventurer, looking off into the distance. ] Have you seen something...?
[ since eupha has great magic sense, she will be able to tell that taair is certainly quite magical! though he's a normal human being, he is a frequent user of magical spells and has a fine reservoir of magic he draws from. i imagine it probably looks a bit like his little birds. ]
taair is up at the lighthouse on this final day, sitting with his arms on the railing and staring out into the ocean. his emotions are kind of a mess even from a distance - there's this awful melancholy and resignation that floats over his shoulders like a cloud, but his expression is passive, thoughtful.
when he hears footsteps he glances over, though, and smiles, and all that vanishes. ]
