Those are precious, precious memories, indeed. [ and only memories, now, which is the worst. ] I think... clear minded or not - that the people that we love and care for remain alive in the narrative of our time, so long as we continue to think of them. Those who are never forgotten are those who live forever, one way or another.

As hard as it is to commit them to memory... and as large of an ask as it is to do so so soon.

It is a nice thought. I do wish to honour and remember them as best I can. It is the least I can do, after all of the kindness they showed me.

... Perhaps I will release a lantern for each of them, once things have settled down.
